SEPARATION TECNOLOGY: ULTRAFILTRATION, NANOFILTRATION AND REVERSE OSMOSIS
The Separation System technology, normally used to define any type of application, consists in the separation and extraction of the undesired substances in order to obtain a pure product.

Whether you talk about polluted waters or liquid separation in pharmaceutical products, the principle will be always the same. However the use of a specific technology or the application of different combined technologies depend completely on the process you have to tackle.

The staff of MARETTO ENGINEERING Plant Division takes the Customers’ requirements into consideration, suggesting and proposing the correct solution from a technical and economic point of view and we can do it not only for our very sophisticated design computer programs, but in particular thanks to the experience gained by our technicians.

The plants, we have designed and built, range from the small ICONOS (nanofiltration plants for cooking use) to the desalination plants used both for brackish waters and for sea waters with a production of thousands of cubic metres per day, including also the combined plants equipped with ultrafiltration, nanofiltration and reverse osmosis systems used to extract serum (dairy by-product), proteins, lactose and reusable pure water.

The Separation System includes, in addition to the ion exchange, the reserve osmosis, the nanofiltration, the ultrafiltration and the microfiltration. These technologies play an essential role in the power generation, as well as in the food, biotechnological and industrial draining processes (see for example the plants for the treatment of dairy waste waters).
