Biological starter for the degradation of phenols, hydrocarbons, benzene, petrochemical waste and other similar accidental discharges to the ground.

BIOMAR TIPO E/119 is a natural compound consisting of absorbing minerals, trace elements and microorganisms. The mineral structure of BIOMAR TIPO E/119 absorbs immediately the Hydrocarbons and this peculiar structure is also able to retain the water and activate the bacterial-enzymatic action of the product. The microorganisms present in BIOMAR TIPO E/119 start immediately the degradation of the absorbed pollutants and so the long hydrocarbon chains are turned into simpler molecules, which can be degraded by all other free microorganisms present in nature.

The absorbing capacity referred to the weight itself of BIOMAR E119 on different materials amounts to:

• Water: % 100
• Petroleum and Hydrocarbons: % 90
• Oils: % 80
• Fats: % 120

The experiences made till now demonstrate that BIOMAR TIPO E/119 and the other products of BIOMAR ENZYMPLUS line, such as E/16 and l’HE/16 inoculated in sequence with E/119, have degraded successfully the oil pollution as indicated below::

• in the first two months: 90%
• in the first year: 99,99%

The dosage is 0,5÷1,5 kg/m². One single inoculation of BIOMAR Type E/119 will have to cover the polluted ground. For a detailed application programme on large surfaces we recommend to contact our technical department.
During the treatment it is advisable to keep the polluted ground always wet by means of a daily irrigation and/or inoculation of our product BIOMAR ENZYMPLUS Type HE 16 or HE 5, which is described in detail in the specific data sheet.
It will be possible to observe the 90%-pollution degradation approximately after 60 days and the total reclamation after one year.
Finally, we wish to underline that the hydrocarbon bioelimination on large surfaces requires some technical-preventive works to be done and our technical department needs all the technical data available on the pollutant before starting the treatment.
