RESIN WATER DEMINERALIZATION
The demineralization is a chemical process able to eliminate all the salts dissolved in the water by passing this latter through special ion exchange resins. The suitable instruments for such a process are called demineralizers.
The demineralized water is required in many industrial applications (textile, cannery, galvanic, electronic and food sector etc.) for the supply of steam generators and for the production of beverages and pharmaceutical products.
GENERAL FEATURES
Life, safety, reliability and simplicity are the basic criteria characterizing DEMISTAND MARETTO ENGINEERING demineralizers, which can be divided into three categories:
  • MAC Series with double-column automatic control (Cationic and Anionic)
  • MTC Series with three-column automatic control (Cationic Degassing Tower, Anionic)
  • LMA Series with single-column automatic control containing two types of resins
PLANT DIVISION

We manufacture specific plants with specific dimensions and technologies according to a specific project, that is:
  • parallel flow models
  • counter flow models
  • floating flow models
All the plants are equipped with control flowmeters for the incoming water, with a programmer for the different running and reclamation phases and also with a conductivity meter to survey the features of the treated water. The valves adopted for these models are PVC diaphragm valves as the pipes are always made of PN 10.
AUTOMATION
In all the models the reclamation is carried out by pushing a button (Push Button), when the conductivity meter indicates a high conductivity, that is when the water quality reaches undesired values.
