Suitable for the treatment in fish farming, lakes, ponds, fountains and water conservation plants. We are very often asked to clean up ornamental lakes, swimming pools, ponds and fountains and remove algae, but the categorical imperative is always not to cause any damage to the fish fauna present in the different water basins. In fact the tropical fishes normally present in aquariums are very expensive and so it is not difficult to understand the need of dosing a product, which doesn't cause any damage to the fauna living in there. The problem was not easy to solve, because all the (normally chemical) known products were and are excellent antagonists against the fish fauna.

So, examining closely the matter, we decided to reverse the problem, making ourselves this question: why don't we try to prevent the formation and bloom of the algae, instead of destroying them?

After in-depth studies and several tests and after the certification obtained by outside laboratories, we have finally found the winning solution.

As usual, you finally realize that the solution of the problem was "the obvious solution", but ...someone had also to take a very simple factor into account, that is instead of destroying the algae with chemical compounds (the most used one is the sodium hypochlorite = liquid bleach), why don't we try to prevent their formation and bloom, inoculating a mixture of non-pathogenic bacteria and enzymes, which are not harmful to humans and animals, but able to attack the nutritious substances of the algae themselves, destroying them??? Without nutrients the algae can neither grow nor bloom and so the water remains clear.

We guarantee that it was not simple at all, but finally we succeeded in finding the winning solution with the product named ALGAZYM.

At the moment BIOMAR ENZYMPLUS ALGAZYM is too revolutionary to advertize the substances contained in its composition, but of course we can say that "There are no data available about exposure cases to the product, which proved detrimental to health. In any case we recommend to operate in compliance with the provisions to perform a good industrial hygiene".

As a confirmation of the above statements, we list below the results of the analysis certificate carried out by a specialized laboratory, which declares the following:

• NON-PATHOGENICITY
  It is hereby certified that the product ALGAZYN doesn't contain any pathogenic bacteria.
• NON-TOXICITY FOR AQUATIC ORGANISMS
  It is hereby certified that the product ALGAZYM has been tested by the Ferrara ARPA with the following results in the toxicity test: Daphnia magna EC 50 with 1,25 ml/litre producing no negative results on the aquatic organisms put in. It is hereby underlined that the above mentioned value corresponds to 1250 ml/m³

Against a dosage of 50 ml/m³ we recommend for critical situations.
